Teaching Experience

Viola teaching: Viola lessons in private studio, 2008-present
Writing teaching: High school English and creative writing teacher, 2015-present
Currently teaching 10th grade, Creative Writing and Shakespeare at Online Oregon Schools
Art teaching: Art lessons, tutoring via Varsity Tutors, Art sub for classes in Portland Public Schools, 2018-2020. High school art teacher, 2021-2024 
Japanese teaching: Concordia Language Villages and T.A. at St. Olaf College, 2011-2014

I have significant experience teaching in both classroom and one-on-one lesson settings, in person and virtually. I take great joy in helping others grow as artists and encouraging art students to find their unique voices.
